July 2015 Part 1

We had so much fun in July that I decided to split the month into two posts!

July started off with a bang on the 4th of July for an Independence Day celebration at our country club. It was the first time that Gracie June has seen fireworks (other than the beginning of every Disney movie haha). They had a blast running around on the golf course and playing with glow in the dark necklaces.

We also celebrated 4th of July with a little pool party at the clubhouse. We didn't stay too long because it was packed… but the pool is definitely our favorite place to be this summer!

That Sunday, after church, we got snow cones and then went to brunch at the clubhouse.

I completed another painting project using Annie Sloan Duck Egg Blue and Old White. This china cabinet was given to me by my mom, when Chance and I moved into our house. It was definitely a hard project, but SO worth it!

More popsicle days out on the back porch.

 CHEERS!

And we've been doing the redneck water slide a LOT lately as well.

Caycen found his cars set in one of the baskets in the playroom and didn't even remember having this! It has been so much fun making new tracks. He now plays with it all the time!

We had lunch in the playroom and GJ was so excited about it!

I had document GJ in this cute little outfit! But she is a hard one to get a picture of!

My little man loves to take pictures of himself!

Running this summer with these two has been BRUTAL!!!

We got to celebrate Cow Appreciation Day this summer at Chick-fil-a! My FAVORITE place to eat…

We've started swim lessons at the beginning of July. GJ cried the whole first session, but did so much better after that. Caycen is a fish in the water. He's been swam all the way from the deep end of the pool to the shallow end. He went from a level 2 to almost completing level 3 in just 4 weeks!!!!

That was the first half of July. The rest of our summer fun will be in the next post. I have enjoyed every minute with these two kiddos this summer!!!
