Caycen and Gracie June wanted to make another snack video... so since Groundhog Day was coming up, I found this fun and easy snack to do! I also made it with my class. It was super easy, cheap, and lots of fun!!!! Not to mention, probably the cutest snack you will ever eat!
Caycen and his friend Ella Kate have really gotten into YouTube videos lately. Ella Kate likes to make little videos at home and is the cutest little actress. Since they are so into making videos, we decided to start a little YouTube channel with fun videos with the kids, teaching videos, and other video tutorials.
The first video we decided to do was Valentine's Day Marshmallow Pops.
This was a learning experience for all of us, but SO.MUCH.FUN! They absolutely LOVED making this snack and being on camera!
Check out our video:
This is an easy snack that could be adapted for any holiday!!!
This January we didn't do too much... we relaxed and stayed home most of the month. Here is our month in pictures:
We started out the month with Caycen's dentist appointment. This was his 2nd check-up and his teeth look great. His first check-up 6 months ago, he was so shy and quiet... this time he didn't stop talking!!!! (even when they had the instruments in his mouth) He had tons of questions and needed to know what every single tool was for.
We always do lots of snuggling and selfies!
And of course, trips to the playground.
Movie nights with Raisinets.
This little bit, started ballet this month. She loves it!
More playground fun!
Brother/sister IPAD time.
Lots of Sunday dinners with Nona and Papa Ray.
IDK what they were doing here... but that face haha!
Caycen always loves a haircut!
We built with our Batman Legos.
GJ is mastering the potty MOST DAYS!
We made Valentine's Day Marshmallow Pops with Ella Kate!
And we tried the game BEAN BOOZLED! It was hilarious!
Then the kids used our lemonade stand to make a "store" and sell me "stuff".
I took C for ice-cream while GJ had dance.
All smiles after dance class.
GJ had a sinus infection so we had to go see the Dr. and get an antibiotic. You wouldn't know this girl was sick cause she's just so sweet!
And again... more playground fun!
My little sunshines after church.
We made a little groundhog day snack.
And that wraps up our month in pictures (and videos). It was a lot of fun!!! I am enjoying every minute that I get to spend with my sweet kiddos. They truly light up my whole world!
Every night before bed, we say our prayers. Right before we pray, I ask Caycen "is there anything special that you would like to pray for today?" Usually the answer is "umm, I don't know" or "no". One night he said he wanted to pray for his house and one day he said his friends. Those are typical things that we pray for often.
But a few nights ago, I asked the question and Caycen responded "I want to pray for people that don't have a home.".
My eyes filled up with tears as I thought about how sweet those words were to be coming out of MY little boy's mouth. I said "aww that's a great one Caycen".
Caycen said, " yea if they don't have a home, they will get run over by a car, and they won't have anything to eat".
We prayed for all of the homeless people to have a safe place to sleep, to have full tummies, and for others to show God's love to them through this scary time in their lives.
Gracie June decided she wanted to dress up as Anna the other day so while Caycen and I were outside, Daddy dressed her up.
A few minutes later, Gracie June comes walking outside in her dress and tiara. I usually don't let her play outside in her dress-up clothes, but I decided to make an exception since there was no mud around.
Gracie June then wanted to ride in Caycen's truck, but Caycen was riding his bicycle, so the little boy across the street said he would drive her.
Gracie June is riding down the road waving at me and I yell "hey Princess Anna" and she yells back (still waving), "hey princess momma".
