Letter to 2 Year Old Gracie June

Dear 2 Year Old Gracie June,

AHHHH!!! Am I really saying that? How can my baby be two already?? Time is flying by so so fast. It seems like just yesterday that we were having your FIRST birthday! You are getting to be such a big girl and not so much a baby anymore. Your personality just grows and grows everyday. I could just sit and watch you forever.

Here are some firsts for this past 6 months:

You finally got all FOUR of your bottom teeth.

You started recognizing more letters. You definitely know the letters B, E, A, C, G, O and you can't point out more when reading books. I'm so so proud of you!

You are starting to talk a little more now. You're not talking in sentences yet, but we are starting understand more of what you are trying to tell us haha. I think Caycen just talks for you!

You had your first trip to a water park and SeaWorld (not sure you enjoyed it as much as the big kids, but you had fun).

Some things you are loving right now:

You LOVE Jessie and Woody from Toy Story.

You love to color, dance, sing, pray, you're starting to love to snuggle more (MOMMY IS SO EXCITED ABOUT THAT!), chasing your brother, being chased by your brother, teasing your brother, playing with the fridge alphabet letters, playing with your baby dolls, purses, shoes (especially your new dress-up shoes that Nona got you), playing in the water table, swimming in the pool, going down the slide, the beach, and when Daddy "gets you".

Your favorite tv show right now is still Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Sophia the First.

Your favorite movies are probably Toy Story, Bolt, Gnomeo and Juliet, & Frozen. (You LOVE to watch movies!!! Especially in the car or upstairs playroom)

Your best friend is for sure your big brother.

You have definitely become attached to Mommy this summer and I LOVE it! But I think you will ALWAYS be a Daddy's girl. You're also pretty attached to your Nona and you love spending time with her.

I get tears in my eyes when I write this letter because I want you to stay little forever!!!! You are my BABY! I KNOW that God has such great plans for your future and that you are going to do amazing things in your life. I pray that you will always know how much you are loved and how proud Daddy and I are of you. I will cherish this past year forever! I can't wait to see what's in store for your year as a 2 Year Old!!!!!!
