Last weekend we went to our first Pirate Fest ever on Tybee Island. We had so much fun!!! We met our friends Amanda and Ashleigh, and of course their kiddos, there. I did drag Chance along, but he had a lot of fun too.
We dressed all the kids up in pirate costumes for the occasion.
It was pretty funny because by the time we got to the festival and paid to get in, it started to rain. Luckily there were a bunch of tents up so we didn't have to stand in the rain. So we gave the kids some snacks and waited for the rain to stop.
The rain stopped just in time for us to watch the parade. The kids loved the music, the costumes, the beads, and all the craziness! They had a blast!!!
It was definitely a lot of fun and they were pooped by the time the parade was over. Maybe next year we will get there earlier so try can actually do some of the activities too.
