We had a lot of fun on Caycen's first Easter. We went to Warner Robins to visit my aide of the family. We got to my mom's house on Saturday night and of course Caycen had an Easter basket from Grandma waiting on him. He got all kinds of goodies!
We started Easter morning off by opening Caycen's Easter basket from the Easter Bunny. He got even more goodies...
Next, we got going to eat brunch with my dad, stepmom and grandparents. We usually go on base to The Officers Club (the name has changed but I can't remember what it is now) and eat brunch, but it's always such a hassle to get everyone on base. We usually have tons of people going. So we decided that we would skip all the stress and go to Golden Coral instead. Well, we probably should have gotten there either a little earlier or a little later because it was about the time that all the good breakfast food was gone and they were just starting to put out a little bit of lunch food. When we finished eating they were finally putting all of the good stuff out. Oh well, we had fun just spending time with the family.
After that we hung out at my dad's house for a little while.
Then it was time to go see the other side of my family over at my Aunt Lynn's house. We ate and hung out for a while. We took some pictures of Caycen with his Easter basket.
Well, that was all for Caycen's first Easter.
Love,
Aimes

Letter to 10 Month Old Baby C
Dear Baby C,
You are 10 months old today!!! Your first birthday is only 2 months away! Wow! Where has the time gone? It is my spring break right now do we have been having so much fun all week long! I have enjoyed every single minute of it.
Every day you seem to get bigger and bigger. You are such a fun baby! Everyone who knows you says that they can't believe how happy you are all the time and your Daddy and I agree. There's no way that we could be lucky enough to have another baby like you one day who is so happy and has just been so easy. Thank you for being so sweet for us!
Now for this month's firsts:
You had your first St. Patrick's day this past month. You got to go to the parade and you loved it.
You had your first sleepover at Grandma's house, which was also your first whole weekend away from us. You had so much fun though and I know you got spoiled rotten by Grandma, Grandpa, Granny, Papa, Aunt Christy, Aunt Lynn, and all your cousins!
You went to your first football game which was to watch your Daddy play and you had so much fun.
You went to watch mommy run for the first time. Hopefully next time you will get to ride in the stroller while mommy pushes you.
You said some new words this month... "nasty", "uh oh", and "thank you". You have been talking up a storm!!! You still only say "ma ma" when you're trying to get to me though. Here is a video of you saying "thank you":
Things you're loving:
Apple juice, sippy cups, stairs, being outside (every time we open the back door you take off to it), any kind of food we give you, the guitar and when Daddy sings, trucks, putting everything in your mouth, pulling up grass, remotes, bananas, sticking your pointer finger on people's mouths and dogs' mouths, and being silly.
You have been the happiest baby I have ever known these last 10 months. You are just a joy in everyone's lives and a blessing to all that know you!!! I hope you continue to be as sweet and happy as you are right now for the rest of your life. I love you so do much Baby C!
Love,
Mommy

Baby C's 9 Month Stats
I should have done this post about 2 weeks ago, but have been SUPER busy! Baby C is almost 10 months old now, but I will write about his 9 month stats from the doctor anyway.
Weight: 22 lbs 11 oz and in the 90%
Height: 29 inches and in the 73%
Head: 44 cm and in the 20% (yay, coming up!)
He didn't have to have any shots at this visit which was nice! We got to leave without any crying this time :)
He has been eating tons of different foods. The only foods he still can't eat are eggs, nuts, honey, and whole milk.
He's becomming such a big boy!
Here is a little video of Baby C kissing his monkey in the car before I went in to work:
Now, on with my Spring Break! I'm already enjoying my day not having to go to work!!!
Have a wonderful day everyone!
Love,
Aimes

A Long Weekend!
This post is on our weekend two weeks ago, which was SO.STINKIN.BUSY. but it was also SO.MUCH.FUN!!!!
We started out the weekend on Friday night just hanging out at our house and resting from a long week…
Then it was Saturday morning, which meant I was running the Pride of Pooler 5k with some of the other teachers I work with. Chance and Baby C came to cheer me on. This was my first 5k after having Baby C, which means I was way more out of shape than all of the other races that I’ve run before. My fastest 5k that I’ve done, which was before Baby C, I did it in 23 minutes and 32 seconds (only because I was running with my friend Lindsey who is really tall and has a SUPER long stride!)… this race I finished in 32 minutes and 39 seconds. I was a little disappointed with the time, but whatever, it was all for fun. And of course, Baby C was asleep in the stroller by the time I finished :)
After the race, Me, Baby C, and Melissa all went to Target, the best shop in the whole world, and got Melissa all set up on her baby registry. It was so much fun!!! She’s having a girl, so of course, we registered for some froo froo girly stuff :)
That afternoon, we went to see Chance play in the alumni football game, Savannah Christian vs Benedictine. Caycen had a BLAST! He loved it when the other kids would come up and talk to him or run by him. Savannah Christian lost, but Chance did a great job (not to mention he was HOT in that football uniform ). Caycen was so tired after the game, he fell asleep while we were waiting on Chance to come out of the locker room.

The next day was Ella Kate’s 1st birthday party. It was a Candy Land themed birthday party. They went all out! Amanda did such a good job with every little detail. Ella Kate was so pretty in her little cupcake dress too. Caycen got Ella Kate a pretty little blue bathing suit, with a blue cover-up, and blue sunglasses. She’s gonna look so cute in it this summer! All of the kids got to play on this little roller coaster toy that they had in the backyard, but Caycen was still too small on it, so we let him get in the bouncy house that they rented. He absolutely LOVED it! He loved it SO much that when we took him out he started to cry!!! That kid hardly ever cries, so you know he LOVED it! He was exhausted by the time we got ready to leave. Ella Kate gave out Candy Land games for their party favors, which I’m sure Caycen will play tons when he gets older.
