July Birthday Parties!

We had a hug birthday party for all the kids in our family with birthdays in July. It was at my Aunt Lynn's house. The kids got to swim, eat pizza, and even decorate their own cupcakes. They had a blast playing together!

The next day, we came back home and headed straight to Cuyler's Superhero birthday party. They had a so much fun swimming, eating cake, and even got to meet a Ninja Turtle!!!!

The next weekend, we got to celebrate Brylee's 2nd birthday with her. She had a "bubble" theme, which was soooo cute!

We are all birthday partied out!!!!

Words to Remember

So, I've decide to start posting on the blog every time my kids say something that's worth remembering. Whether it's sweet, funny, wild, whatever. I know that Caycen has said soooo many things that I wish is written down cause they were SO worth remembering and now I have forgotten. So now I can have all those little quotes in one place and I'll never forget! This post is going to have a few that I can remember Caycen saying with ages. After this post, I will try to blog about the quote as soon as it happens. So here they go:

Caycen age 2:

After waking up in the morning before school, I took Caycen to use the potty. He's still half asleep when he pulls his pants down and says "WOOH that's a big pogey!"

One day, I told Caycen "wow, you're getting so big, how did you get do big?".

He responds "yea I'm really big and I have big arms. When I'm big like you I can pop my fingers".

Caycen age 3:

I told Caycen "God made dirt so dirt won't hurt". He says "oh so Jesus made dirt too Mommy?". 

I told Caycen not to do something because he could get hurt and die (I know this is a little harsh but sometimes it's the only thing that works with him). Then I asked him "do you know what happens when you die?" And he said "what Mommy?". I told him "you will leave Mommy and Daddy and go live with Jesus in heaven and you won't live with us anymore". He said "oh so I would live with Jesus and God?". I said yes, then I asked "do you want to leave Mommy and Daddy? Cause I'll be sad if you leave me". He says "I'm gonna go live with Jesus, you stay here Mommy with Daddy". I said "well you can stay here with us. And did you know that Jesus live right here in your heart?" I touched his heart and he says "that's my heart? And Jesus lives there?". I said yes. And Caycen says "oh Jesus is trapped under my shirt!". He then pulls his shirt up and says "Jesus is in my heart and I trapped him" and pulls his shirt down really fast.

He is just too funny! More "words to remember" coming soon. 

Gracie June's First Birthday Photo Shoot

I can't believe how awesome Gracie June's pictures turned out for her first birthday photo shoot! She was so happy the entire time we were taking pictures! I just love this little girl so much!!!! Thanks to Jerina Mac Photography for always providing us with the best pictures ever!!!!

GJ's One Year Stats

Gracie June is now 1 and we went for her One Year Check-up. These were her stats:
Weight: 20 lbs 14 oz (68%)
Height: 28 inches (13%)
Head Circumference: 45 cm (53%)

Letter to ONE Year Old GJ

Dear one Year Old Gracie June,

This has been the fastest year of my life! I can't believe that you are already a year old. You are the sweetest little girl that I know! I have had so much fun being your mommy! I can't wait to make so many more memories with you.

This month's firsts:

You started waving this month doing bye bye and hello.

You got your first two teeth this month, which are your bottom two teeth.

You stared walking around with your walker this month really good.

You had your first July 4th.

You went on the boat for the first time.

You had your first birthday party two days before turning one.

You started doing "arms up" and you can point to your nose.

You started climbing the stairs. We really have to keep an eye on you and make sure the baby gate is closed all the time now.

Things you're loving:

You love to give kisses, hugs, cuddle on pillows, chase Caycen around the house, eat macaroni and cheese, eat anything really, listen to music, dance, baths, playing with the dogs, crawl, climb stairs, read books, watch t.v., play outside, swing, play in the pool, your water table, your new kitchen, your cozy coupe, and playing with mommy and Daddy.

You are such a happy little girl. I pray that God will allow you to have many many more birthdays and that you will grow into a God loving girl that stays just as sweet as you are right now.
